VISA TO RUSSIA

Russia Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United Kingdom passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity. Non-UK passport-holders applicants must provide the copy of the document confirming their current long-term resident status in UK (Residence Card, Study Permit, Work Permit). The status must be still valid at the time of the expiration of the requested visa.
• - Passport-type photographs: 1
  - Russian visa application form - must be filled out on-line, printed out, signed and dated. Click here to start.
  - Visacentre Order/Payment form.
  
• Tourist Voucher and Confirmation valid for the entire duration of the trip and issued by tourist company or hotel in Russia approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If you do not have them we can provide you with these documents.
• Applicants who are self-employed, company directors, working from home or unemployed need to provide bank statements for the last three months which have a current balance of a minimum of £100 per day for the duration of the visit (not required for housewives, students and retired applicants). Please note that if you wish to provide online banking printouts please make sure they will be certified and stamped by your bank.
• Additional required documents for minors under 18 applying alone: - Permission to travel. Signed and dated permission letter from one of the parents, giving permission to the child to travel alone or explaining who will accompany the child, indicating the dates of travel. If the child's and parent's surname do not match, a copy of the child's birth certificate is required to confirm that the permission letter has been provided by the biological parent. - Parent's Passport Copies. A copy of the parent's passport's first page and page with a valid Russian visa.
• IMPORTANT: The passport MUST contain at least two blank visa pages in order for the visa to be issued.
• Russian tourist visa applications are accepted only within 90 days of the proposed entry date to Russia. Please apply only within 90 days of the date of travel.
• Persons with dual citizenship, one of which is UK, must apply with their UK passports only. Applicants with other than UK passports must provide the copy of the document confirming their current resident status in UK
• Due to technical reasons at Russian Embassy we will not be able to accept visa applications for expedited (3 business days) service effective 15 May 2012 until further notice.

For Business Visa

• Letter of Invitation in original. Business invitation approved by the Russian Ministry of Interior or the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Telex number with the name of the inviting organization. If you do not have these documents we can provide you with them.
• Russian business visa applications are accepted only within 45 days of the proposed entry date to Russia. Please apply only within 45 days of the date of travel.
• Introductory letter from your company/organization (or from yourself if you are self-employed) giving full details of the traveller, destinations, dates and purpose of the visit as well as stating the name of inviting organization, contact details of the responsible person in Russia and explaining who will take financial responsibility of the trip.
